This play was such a great experience and was written during the Pandemic as I considered the change of my name. I realize that people don’t know what thinking about your name involves.

Description: “Why would you change the name you’ve been answering to your whole life? How do you find a new one? Why would anyone go to the trouble? Artist and performer Jai Djwa brings you on his journey with friends in HI MY NAME IS JAI. Plus understand the larger sense of identity of new immigrants to Canada and the experience of being biracial. Learn the secret power of changing your name in this funny and poignant show, directed by Raugi Yu.”
